Work

Two categories I have written for

No client names unless they ask. No invented revenue or reply counts. Process and voice first. Outcomes only when I can stand behind them.

Flooring and epoxy emails for a Kansas City shop

Client: Kansas City flooring and epoxy shop (name not published)

Problem: Past customers sat quiet. Coupon-style blasts did not fit high-ticket garage and floor work.

What I did: Owner-voice emails about the work, the prep, and the next bay. Unique codes on offers. Approved before send.

Results: Not published here yet. I do not invent job or revenue numbers.

Sample angle: Subject line about a finished garage bay. Premise: write like the person who did the job, not a discount calendar.

Flooring email marketing

Owner-voice email for an independent running shop

Client: Independent Kansas City running store (name not published)

Problem: Chain-style calendars do not sound like the person behind the counter.

What I did: Letters that sounded like the shop, not a national brand schedule.

Results: Not published here yet.

Sample angle: A note that reads like a counter conversation after a fitting, not a percentage-off blast.

Running store email marketing

How I work (and what I will not do)

  • Unique codes so we can tie orders to a send
  • You approve before anything goes out
  • No coupon-first copy for high-ticket work
  • No fake open-rate charts
  • No tool lock-in. Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, HubSpot, or what you have already can stay

How I measure

Replies and booked jobs from people who already paid you. Coded orders when we run an offer. Open rates are a soft signal after Apple Mail Privacy Protection. I do not lead with them.

Footnote: older work sometimes showed strong opens on clean lists. That is not the scoreboard I sell on.
